Five coins in a row will always look like a decision, not an accident.

The Luxor is a slim presentation box that holds five coins, each in a uni CAPS L capsule, set into a black velour insert. The case measures 340 by 90 by 30mm — long, low, and narrow. The capsules themselves are made of scratch-resistant plastic and take coins from 25 to 41mm, so a slightly mismatched set can still sit together as though it always belonged that way.

It is the row of five that does it. Jonah once bought coins from a dealer who refused to use anything as vulgar as a proper case and instead kept his best pieces in an old cigarette tin, each one wrapped in tissue and laid in a row he insisted was chronological. It was not chronological. But there was something in the ceremony of lifting them out one at a time that Jonah has never quite shaken, and the Luxor, lined up and waiting, gives a set the same quiet sense of sequence.
