Jonah Lumes is a small Australian business for people who collect — coins, banknotes, cufflinks, fountain pens, and the quiet apparatus of keeping such things properly: trays, cases, sleeves, boxes, and the occasional object that refuses to explain itself.
The name belongs to our resident collector: a man happiest at a desk past midnight under a green banker’s lamp, sorting one tray of coins and somehow reorganising three. He believes presentation is not decoration but respect — that a fine coin left loose in a drawer is not being stored so much as mildly insulted. We have built the shop around that idea.
We don’t do hype. We stock things that solve a collector’s real problem: how to store, present, protect, and honour an object worth keeping. If we wouldn’t keep it in our own drawers, we don’t list it.
