Paper money has a way of arriving folded, creased, and treated like something disposable — which is precisely the opposite of how it should be kept.

The Renniks Banknote Album is a padded, leather-look album in red, with a gold-stamped logo and four brass posts holding it together. It comes with six clear three-pocket pages and matching backing sheets — room for eighteen notes — and it is made in Australia, measuring 240 by 280mm. The pages are Copy Safe PVC, and when the collection outgrows the album, brass extension screws let you add more rather than start again.

It is the gold stamping that does it. Jonah has a weakness for gold pressed into a dark cover — it reminds him of the registers in old hotels, the kind a clerk would turn around for you to sign with a pen that did not quite work, the lettering on the spine worn smooth by thumbs over decades. He once spent twenty minutes admiring such a ledger and entirely forgot why he had come to the front desk. The note in his pocket, he remembers, was a crisp one. He did not want to fold it.

The album holds eighteen notes today, and as many as patience allows after that.

A banknote collection should never feel like paperwork.

Red cover, gold-stamped —
eighteen notes lie flat and calm,
no crease, no folding.

Dispatched from Melbourne within 1–2 business days. Free standard delivery on orders over $100. 30-day returns on unused items in original presentation.

A piece worth keeping

"Anything with that much history deserves better accommodation than a drawer."

Chosen, like everything here, for character as much as condition — set where it can be seen and used, rather than left in the dark.
